Amy M. Shrock M.Ed., CCC-SLP Amy Morris Martin, M.Ed., CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and co-owner of Blue Ridge Therapy Associates. She received a Masters in Education in Speech Pathology from the University of Virginia in 1992. She has 23 years of clinical experience across multiple setting including outpatient, schools, hospitals, acute care and pediatrics. She evaluates and treats a wide range of speech, language and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages and performs Modified Barium Swallow Studies in an outpatient setting. She is certified with Infant and Toddler Connection of Virginia as an early intervention therapy provider.

Vanessa Mayer M.Ed., CCC-SLP Vanessa Mayer, M. Ed. is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who has been practicing in Lynchburg at Blue ridge Therapy Associates since 2009. She received a Master of Education in Communication Disorders in December 2008 from the University of Virginia and graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology also majoring in French Language & Literature and minoring in Biology. She is bilingual in French and English. Vanessa is a certified member of American Speech- Language- Hearing Association (ASHA) and have received two Awards for Continuing Education (ACE) from ASHA. She has had the opportunity to work with both children and adults and has considerable experience in a variety of areas of speech and language disorders for both children and adults including: apraxia, articulation/phonology, dysarthria, aphasia, TBI, cognitive language and memory deficits, symbolic dysfunction, voice, fluency, dysphagia, augmentative and alternative communication, autism spectrum disorders, auditory processing and receptive and expressive language disorders.
