Marybeth Hillmer, BRTA’s pediatric physical therapist (2007-2017) passed away with her sisters by her side on February 3rd, 2021. The world lost one of its brightest lights that night. That light shone brightly until the very end. So many people felt its warmth in a myriad of ways that are too numerous to count. So quietly and gently this energy reached out to support the world’s most vulnerable and the ones that loved them. Marybeth HIllmer, we miss you dearly. May we all endeavor to shine a little more brightly in your absence. And, may you rest in peace forever.

Lyndsey Ford DPT, PAMC Lyndsey holds a Master’s Certificate in Performing Arts Medicine focusing on muscle energy techniques for pelvis, hips, and lumbo-sacral joints. The benefits of foot, ankle, hip and pelvic muscle energy techniques work the entire kinetic chain to help treat the cause of back and knee pain, not just to improve symptoms. Sciatica, sacral pain, and groin pain can be common symptoms of pelvic dysfunction. Lyndsey’s manual techniques with the pelvis and mobilization techniques for the foot and ankle improve performance as well as specific ways to address the special needs for actors, dancers, musicians, gymnasts, ice skaters, skiers, and sportspersons who have incurred these injuries.
